Gentleladies walking !!!!

women fashion shoesOops ! She was just about to tumble but just managed avoiding falling down.
“Hey, look at those Stilettos. Much a stunner isn’t it.”, whispered one lady to another at Hard Rock Cafe.
“Not quite” was the remarked response received. “High heels draw too much of the attention mileage you see.”

Indeed, in the footwear world, flats are reigning back again. Simpler, not-so-catchy versions are everywhere. In-fact, neon colours are the talking point. The perception lies with the colours brightening, the trend to showcase is becoming more and more luxurious and feminine.

So what’s in demand?
Anything flat. Open-toe booties and peep-toes are reviving back especially in Mumbai . That’s what real ladies all over the city exhibit other that the fashionistas [the psycho-graphics include working women, college revellers and housewives too.] Nevertheless, the winter not at all harsh on the coastal city, yet thigh-high boots are catching up too; over-the-knee ones are easy to spot too. The younger crowd is catching up too – Sneakers. Flat sneakers, either sporty or classic synchronize vividly with college girls back again. The details remain with thicker straps, heavier weaves, thicker lasts, thicker soles and even thicker laces but not the height.

Colours were mentioned in the para above, which colours?
A whole wide range. Emerald, bold blue, tomato red, purple, orange, fuchsia and all those with glitz. With neon coloured jeans catching up, varied colours cannot be out of radar. Velvets are in too. Walnuts and blacks by not being too trendy have saved themselves from a quick death. With the PETA contributions converging in, fur-coated ones are on a steep decline.

The trend goes ……
It’s more about being incorporated into Mumbai’s comfortable environment rather than standing out.
